Hair and Beauty by Zoe is a Milkshake Salon. I provide one to one unique hairdressing to clients, with over two decades of experience in the industry. Please feel free to browse some of my work and visit the website to purchase any of the products that are in stock and available on back order. I also supply a large range of unique Gift Basket ideas, which can be found in the salon or on the Facebook page. Post and Packing charges apply.

Initial Consultation:

For new clients requesting colour work I advise an initial consultation to carry out a patch test. This patch test must be carried out at 48 hours prior to any colour service. This will ensure that you are okay to go ahead with technical work and allows me to ascertain what needs to be done to achieve the required colour. At this point we can discuss exactly what kind of colour you are looking for. I will also be able to give you a definite quote for your desired colour.

Appointment Waiting Times:

It is always advised to pre book in advance, as waiting times can vary from 2 – 3 weeks. Busy periods such as Christmas and Summer Holidays may result in a longer wait.


All messages will be responded to as soon as possible. Any contact received after 20:00hrs will be responded to on my next working day (excluding annual and bank holidays). Please see opening times/hours on the website.

Cancellation Policy:

Your appointments are very important to Hair & Beauty by Zoe, the time is reserved specifically for you. Understandably, we all lead very busy lives and there are times when plans may need to be changed. As a small business, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.

Please understand that when you do not attend your appointment without giving enough notice, we are unable to fill that appointment time. Not only does this affect other clients who are on the waiting list, it also affects my income and the structure of financial accounting. Therefore, a cancellation fee does apply for those who do not give sufficient notice.

  • Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
  • DNA (Did not Attend) will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.

The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our scheduled filled, thus better serving everyone. Hair & Beauty by Zoe Hair Salon policies are presented in the best quality and tradition of excellent servicing for our established and future clientele. Hair and Beauty by Zoe do not offer a refund policy; if you refuse to go ahead with your stylists recommendations and insist on a colour without taking professional advice, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer document stating that you take full responsibility for your decision.
Obviously this does not affect your statutory rights but please keep this in mind when engaging in an appointment at the salon.

Post and Packing:

All orders are despatched within 14 days. Product orders are packaged and postage is applied in accordance with required specifications, weight and size.

Returns policy:

When purchasing products from the website or salon, please ensure that you read the description of the product to suit your own hair type before purchasing as I do not offer refunds for products that are purchased in error. If you receive an item that is not described as in the detailed listing and is returned unopened – I will offer a replacement. If the product has been opened, tampered with or used, no refund or replacement will be offered.


Products and Hair appointments – I take all major credit cards and PayPal payments on the website and can also accept card and cash payments in the salon.


I do not offer credit or accept payments online after an appointment – all payments must be made at the time of purchase.


On engaging and booking an appointment with Hair and Beauty by Zoe, you agree to all the terms and conditions as above.
